Jacques Cousteau has deemed our area as the second best diving destination in the world second only to the Red Sea. Liquid Heaven has the world’s # 1 artificial Reef Ball system a mere 150 feet from the back of the store. Divers who visit us have the opportunity to dive with octopi, and juvenile Wolf Eels in 20 feet of water.
When you are not diving with us, there are plenty of local attractions to visit and keep you entertained in the surrounding Saanich Peninsula area. You may stroll down the main streets of Sidney and enjoy some of the numerous book stores, fabulous Art Galleries, coffee shops, and specialty stores that can only be found in Sidney.
If you are a water and nature enthusiast, partake in locally offered excursions to go whale watching, kayaking, surfing, swimming, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking. Located 100 yards from our store is the Ecology Centre where both children and adults alike can touch and feel underwater critters and plant life.
For those who are more culture and history oriented, the surrounding Saanich Peninsula area has plenty to offer as well. You may visit the Butchart Gardens, named as a National Historic Site in Canada in 2004, and enjoy the amazing floral displays and gardens. Or visit the 366 foot Navy destroyer, and legislature building in Victoria. Whatever your interest, our location will be able to offer you plenty to do, and relax.
